4. Mission
Mission Statement:
U.S. forces will launch an offensive to recapture the strategically vital town of Uski in preparation for a coordinated NATO airdrop of troops, equipment, and supplies. The successful recapture of Uski will serve as the staging ground for regrouping with NATO forces and reinforcing our position. Once consolidated, friendly forces will push eastward to the town of Arree with the primary objective of neutralizing three enemy artillery companies threatening the region. This operation is critical to regaining momentum in the conflict and securing key logistical routes for future operations.
Mission Objectives by importance;
- Recapture the town of Uski from enemy forces.
- Secure the town as a staging area for a NATO airdrop of troops, equipment, and supplies.
- Regroup with NATO forces upon successful completion of the airdrop.
- Prepare for an eastward push toward the town of Arree.
- Destroy three enemy artillery companies positioned in and around Arree.
- Secure key logistical routes to support ongoing and future operations.
5. Execution
A. Commander’s Intent
The primary objective is to recapture the strategic town of Uski to allow for the successful NATO airdrop of troops, equipment, and supplies. By regaining control of Uski, we will establish a foothold for our operations in the region and ensure the coordination and regrouping of friendly forces. Following the airdrop, we will push eastward to the town of Arree, where three enemy artillery companies are positioned. These companies pose a significant threat to the success of NATO's broader operations in the area and must be neutralized. Our intent is to maintain momentum, degrade enemy capabilities, and secure key terrain that will allow for future offensive actions. Commanders on the ground will emphasize speed, coordination with NATO forces, and the neutralization of artillery threats while minimizing civilian casualties and collateral damage.
B. Concept of Operations
Our operations will be conducted in four phases:
Phase 1: Insertion and Reconnaissance
- US forces will move into position to recon the town of Uski.
- Identify enemy positions and fortifications.
- Locate key logistical and command centers within the town.
- Provide intel to NATO forces for coordinated airdrop.
Phase 2: Recapture of Uski
- Conduct a coordinated assault on the town of Uski to neutralize enemy forces.
- Secure key buildings, supply routes, and vantage points.
- Set up defensive positions to ensure control of the town.
- Establish communications for the NATO airdrop.
Phase 3: NATO Airdrop and Resupply
- Initiate NATO air support and airdrop of troops, equipment, and supplies into Uski.
- Regroup and integrate NATO and US forces for the next phase of the operation.
- Ensure all critical supplies and reinforcements are successfully deployed and distributed.
Phase 4: Push Eastward to Arree
- With reinforced forces, begin the eastward push toward the town of Arree.
- Conduct search and destroy operations along the route to clear remaining enemy forces.
Phase 5: Destruction of Artillery Companies in Arree
- Identify and locate three enemy artillery companies stationed in Arree.
- Deploy assault teams to neutralize artillery positions with precision strikes.
- Secure the town and eliminate enemy command elements to prevent further counterattacks.
Phase 6: Consolidation and Defense
- Once Arree is secured, establish defensive positions around the town to hold ground.
- Prepare for possible enemy counteroffensive.
- Ensure all objectives have been met, including the neutralization of artillery and securing supply lines.
Phase 7: Extraction and Reinforcement
- Prepare for any follow-up missions or extraction of key personnel if necessary.
- Await further NATO orders based on the success of this operation and strategic goals.
